Hookah Research Paper

Hey all, sorry I havent been on in a long while. I've been really busy with college and all and now Im working on one of my english finals. It's a research paper on any topic, and I decided to choose hookahs. More specially the history of hookahs, but I also want to branch out into the future of hookahs (specifically in american culture). So I was wondering if anyone knew of some solid credible web sites or other sources (books I might be able to find at a library). Stressing on the credible bit, I can't really use stuff like wikipedia or some random persons webpage saying "I think hookah is great!". Also, if possible I'd love to conduct a short online interview with someone who owns a hookah bar or online shop to get their viewpoint on where the future of hookah in america might be heading. If anyone is up for it or can help me with some resource material I'd be very greatful!

I just wrote (about a month ago) a short paper on the health issues related to hookah for a class I was taking. I was looking more specifically for issues related to health rather than history, but I did do a quick (which for me is actually fairly intensive) look for legitimate sources that could help me pin down the history a little bit. What I found was that there is almost nothing out there in English, which amazed me. So I don't really have anything to recommend, but I'd remember to try using all of the names and spelling variants: hooka, hookah, shisha, nargile, narghile, goza, hubble bubble, waterpipe, water pipe, and so on.

Hey everyone, just wanted to give you all an update. I finished the research paper I was doing and it turned out pretty darn good if I say so myself. It's a tad over 2,200 words so it's pretty long but I had to do a lot of research (although honestly basically all of it I already knew, but I had to back up what I said). Anyway, I felt like showing all of you who care to read it. It's a good read, for real, so if you feel like killing 10 minutes just give it a read and let me know what you think.
