Akhla Charcoal Briquettes

Recommended Posts

Hey fellow hookah smokers!

I got some great news! There is a new charcoal available in the Untied States - Akhla Charcoal Briquettes. It is now available on www.SaharaSmoke.com

I will tell you, and this is only my opinion, this is the best instant light charcoal available in the world! Three kings was the best charcoal, and still is a great hookah coal, but Akhla Briquettes is even better! It lights in about 2-5 seconds and is completely red hot. it lasts on average about 60 minutes. it is unbelievable how fast it lights and every time I have smoked hookah with this coal it hasn't affected the flavor.
it comes 6 briquettes per roll and 20 rolls per carton.

Since this is a new product on the market we are offering an introductory discount. Use this coupon code AkhlaCharcoal to save 10% off Akhla Briquette Rolls. offer lasts until june 30th.

You will not be disappointed with this brand of coal!!

If you have any problems with the coupon code, call us at 1.866.208.1339

Ok, I've actually tried these things. They Start FAST, so watch your eyebrows, but they do burn with less chemical taste than say a golden or 3 king. I still prefer a finger coal, but as far as quicklites go they are pretty good...

Nice. I love lighting up a coal in front of people who have killed too many brain cells and watching them freak out at the sparking.

The coals are 33mm. We will be carrying 40mm and Akhla natural coals in the next few months

so I just got a sample of those coals, and definitely watch out. they light fast, real fast, and leave you with a terrific cloud of sulfur lingering in the air. it probably wouldn't be so bad if you were lighting outside...definitely reminds you of sparklers on the 4th of july. after the cloud dissipates, it's safe to smoke without inhaling the nastiness. on the plus side, they burn slow as hell, getting about 10-15 minutes more than your standard 33mm 3 kings. i would totally disagree that it has less of a chemical taste than 3 kings though, mostly because you can smell the sparkler aspect, thus affecting taste.

anyway, i'm not really trying to knock the product, b/c it does last a good amount, and it does light really really really really really fast, which is what it's supposed to do.

but if you've smoked like rolland coals, or any other rip-off instant light coals, you know the thick dark smelly clouds they produce, and are comfortable with that, then there you go. if you're a natural/japanese or 3 kings coal user, chances are you won't like it much.

we just started getting these at our local hookah shop because they've been out of our usual swiftlight brand and i can say i've been pleased with these but i'm still having a bit of a problem with heat management. with 2 full ones it seems to get started really good but then it burns the shisha and with just one it's the same thing it seems to start good but then it dies out and i have to throw another one on. I think today i'm going to try 1 1/2 see how that works out.
