Dodo Charcoal Is A No-go

Recommended Posts

My friends brought over some Dodo coals for me to evaluate. They looked like 40mm 3 Kings. They lit weakly and poorly. They stank when lighting and smelled almost continuously since the lighting portion was so weak. Anybody else try these?

The real kicker was that they told me they were $20 a box. The store in question was carrying them because Japanese coals didn't sell well (too expensive?!?)

BTW that box of Greek instant lights I picked up at Odyssey last time -- awesome. I'd review them, but I don't read Greek, so what to call them?

Lihnari. The upside down V is L, the i is an i, the next letter approximates H (its eta, it I remember). the n is an n, the lowercase a with a tail on the top is alpha, or a, a lowercase p is rho, or r. I don't remember all the letters. I might be wrong on some of whats on the package.
