Azu Posted June 8, 2007 Share Posted June 8, 2007 I just got a bag of smiley's Coconut coals as a replacement for my three kings, and I cannot get any smoke. I can get a lot of flavor for it but it just doesn't have any of the smoke quality i'm used to, am I doing something wrong, anyone have any similar experiances? Make sure that the coal is completely orange. Place Flat side down. One thing that I did notice is that when I put the wind cover over it started rather fast.
