Best & Worst Hookah Experience

Hi everyone,
I got into Hookahs about 6 months ago, I wanted to know what other people's hookah experience has been, Good and Bad.

The good one for me was smoking a nice big bowl while in the Jacuzzi and having some Coronas at the same time.

The Bad was was smoking a portable hookah in a friends car on the freeway. The charcoal fell on the seat and starting burning through, I was holding the hookah in one hand and trying to get the charcoal with the tongs using the other hand while it was burning through the seat. It took about 30 seconds, there was a hole in the rental car sear the size of a round charcoal, burnt through pretty deep, and the fact that we had to drive another 300 miles to San Fransisco while seating in a car that has burnt rubber smell. The worst part, we had to pay a good deal of money to hurtz for their seat.

If anybody can top these two stories, I would love to hear it

best experience... smoking my 3 hoser in my brothers dorm room a few weeks before the semester was over. an excellent smoke with my brother and my best friend.

Best - probably smoking on the dock with my friends at the one guy's cottage.

Worst - probably the time the pipe tipped over and coal sprayed all over the carpet. Thankfully its a rather dark rug.

Best: sitting by the pool with one of my good friends. Great conversation, great flavor, just an all around relaxing time

My best experience of smoking hookah will be definitely smoking hookah at my school hall after the examination. Got my friend hook to the hookah thats a plus.

Worst thing ever happen to me will be probably having problem with the heat management and burning the carpet at my workplace.

Best :- Sitting in the Negev desert with my brother, smoking shisha and drinking goldstar.

Worst :- Any session at home, alone, that just dosn't come up to par.

Well personally I think if your dumb enough not to anticipate that the motion of the car would eventually knock over the coal, you deserve to loose money. That malicious comment aside however, you could use the technique thats employed with hand held shishas. You set it up normally but you poke holes in another piece of foil and wrap it around the lit charcoal so it can't actually fall off.

Best experience- Smoking with a group of Iranian girls that had never tried shisha before. I don't know if it was intentional or not but lets just say that they handled the pipe a lot more seductively then a normal person. Either way a long with the teenage girl giggles, it was a pretty enjoyable display.

Best experience was smoking a shisha in Douz, Tunisia, around a camp fire in the Sahara Desert

Worst experience was smoking a mint shisha which I had flavoured with fresh mint leaves.. it gave me the most almighty headache and I went off shisha for a good week.

Just to clarify, my friend was the life long hookah smoker, and I was some what new to the whole thing, so I blame him for what happened and I will forward your comment to him.

Worst: Smoking shisha at a party when a fight erupted and some knocked my shisha and the stem broke off

Hope your friend isn't a 6 foot tall angry Somoan. But nah lately i've been hearing a lot of 'bad experiences' from friends that fail to realise the consequences of what their doing. Like one of the them decided to carry a hot charcoal from his stove to the shisha by only holding it with tongs. He was also drunk mind you but long story short he's now probably lost $300 in rental bond because of the carpet he burned and all because he was to lazy to walk 3m and carry it in the ash tray.
