so i have had a hydra double house hookah, from hookah brothers. My base broke and i think there company is getting sued or something and they are done. What base should i buy that would fit my hookah and be as good as the last one?

so how should i know what base to get if i still have my stem and all that?

Uh... are you answering your own question with a question?

At any rate, no one here is going to know the dimentions of your old base, and even if we did, online sites don't offer measurments of diameters of the inside of their stem holes, so even we really couldn't help.

I guess what you COULD do is measure the diameter of the part of your stem that actually fits into the base, and call a bunch of different online sites over the phone and ask them to take the measurements of their base diameters, but remember you need to take into consideration that you also use a rubber grommet, that takes up a bit of space.

OR

You can take your stem with you to local stores like TJMax or other housing stores that have vase-esk types of things and just see if anything fits.

To add something to that, i saw at hookahcompany, they had the measurements of some of the inside diameters of there replacement bases, might wanna check there.

Just a tip, when I broke my base I went around a lot of home good stores like Joanne, hobby lobby, and other stores, and didn't find anything that would fit. But I realised bottles are like the perfect size. I now use a glass juice bottle that actually looks like a decent base. So if your lookin for a cheap alternative just use a drink bottle
