goandeatsomestuff Posted June 29, 2007 Share Posted June 29, 2007 Hey, when you come up to the Easy Bay be sure to hit up the guys at Whelan's TobaccoThey carry the "standard" stuff, Havana, Pharoah's, and just started carrying Starbuzz about a month ago. They're the only place they guys in my house do business with up here, and the owner owns a hookah shop a little bit away from Berkeley. If you want a place to crash up here, too, my house rolls deep on hookahs, there are about four nargiles in the house which get smoked at least once a day each, and the one in my room burns at least three times a day, though I will admit Tangiers is viewed as a bit of a menace in the tobacco shelves and puts anyone on their ass whenever they smoke it. Hit me up with a PM if you want to talk, I've been up here two years at school and have a fair amount of knowledge about what goes down in the area esp. with the Cal students. I haven't been to any of them for a while as we usually smoke at various friend's houses, but I don't remember them having Tangier's back then. I could be wrong.P.S. It was the longest I'd ever been away from San Diego, it was the great blizzard of '72, too. Are there any retail stores that sell tobacco near you?
