Theophage
Dogfish Head really does make some great beers. Last year, my friend bought a barrel of their 90 Minute IPA. Now that was an expensive barrel! Somewhere around $230 if I recall correctly... Damn tasty though.

I vote 'No' to beer all together, but I'll surely partake in a good hard cider (on tap, if possible). My rankings...1) Original Sin2) Woodpecker3) Woodchuck4) Magner's Edited June 15, 2007 by tingjunkie

Akkbar
around here, when people want to get drunk for cheap they drink Big Bear. It's CAD$2.59 for 1.17 litres of 17% beer. It tastes like ass, but you cant beat the price.
ghostofdavid
I just bought a 40 of Steel Reserve just the other day. It was good. A bunch of my buddies at Purdue would trek like 2 hours or so into IL just to buy it. Now you can find it anywhere, almost.

newsman
If you like a strong beer, try just about any Belgian trippel ale. They clock in at about 9%. If you want REALLY strong beer, there's a swiss beer called Sami Klaus (no joke). It's about 14%, if I recall correctly. Definitely not a slammin' beer... Kae
Black Dragon (might be Red Dragon, now that I think about it) is a microbrew from idk-where, but I used to get it at this cigar/martini bar I went to in Columbus, GA. It was 15.7% alcohol, and damn good, with a faint-but-noticeable aftertaste of black currant Sam Adams Cherry Wheat used to be the only beer that I would drink...now that I have broadened my tastes, I almost never drink it anymore. It's more of a winter beer to me, anyway *shrug* Still, very very good =]
3rooker
All these still don't beat the strongest "beer", in quotes because when you get much higher, it's not really classified as beer, but anyway, nothing is going to beat the 25% Samuel Adams Utopias! And I got a chance to try this fine beer and it is sooo smooth. Gotta love it. It's got a nice, rich flavor!TX

3rooker
I'm not in to all those ales and ciders and such. BUT, I'll drink anything with alcohol in it. Alcoholics Anonymous is for quitters. lol Alcoholics RULE!TX
Kae
Haha, same, I'll drink anything...out of anything, anywhere...Today, I had a Corona at 8am, with my morning cigarette, before breakfast. Alcoholics go to meetings. I don't have a drinking problem. Drinking is my solution. True story >_>;;;My fiance swears by Arrogant Bastard Ale. It's got a sweet label, but I'm really not big on the beer. It tastes too hoppy for me. Edited June 17, 2007 by Kae
