Johnny_D
Billy your the only person i know who can't get silver lights going LOLWhy not just bye a blow-torch?I hate lighting my silver-light's on a stove. it does not work as well and takes for-bloody-ever.However if your tied down to the stove. heat on one side for a few mins until glowing, then heat on the other for longer. Turn over, blow off silver covering.JD

Jamal
It's easy to tell Jap coals, my brother had the same problem:-When you break the coal there should be some exposed side, light that, and when that is orange its doneor-Look closey and the silver coating should so a faint orange, and when you blow on it, it should expand thats another way of telling its lit.
