Hookah By Mail=old And Dry?

Sometimes when I order shisha through websites like theHookah.com or hookah-shisha.com, the tobacco I recieve is dry. Why is this? Is it because it sits in a UPS truck all day when the sun is out and its hot in the truck. When I receive my packages, the package and tobacco is always warm (at least during this time of year). When I open my package, I get warm dry tobacco. Is this from the heat? What should I do? Who should I order from?

I once had a package ruined thanks to the awesome people at Fed Ex. The dumb-shit truck driver couldnt find the house even though I was speaking to him on the phone. He said in a nice stoner voice, "Yeah, man, I totally cant find the place." and I said "Well fuck, I'll meet you at the gas station on 4th street." but her gave me a "Sorry, can't do that man." After two days of sitting in the back of a fucking FedEx truck under the hot Nebraska sun, the shisha was ruined. Oh, but I'm happy to say that the driver was fired the day after he finally found my house, but it didn't make the tobacco taste any better.

it was golden al fakher grape. it smelled like rotten ketchup and tasted horrible. I called the site (hookahcompany.com) where i got it from and they said that it was a fresh batch, that it had just arrived from the UAE or wherever al fakher comes from.

I always get my shisha through the mail as there isn't any good place to buy it around here (I live in Dayton, OH and the recent smoking ban laws that the state passed are raining on my hookah parade...). I've never recieved any shisha that wasn't up to par (as far as quality goes... Al Waha "Winter Flower" is some fucking gross shit... I've never felt sick after smoking before... I couldn't even look at my hookah for a couple of days.)

My order was Al Fakher. I got it from theHookah.com and Hookah-shisha.com. The Al Fakher from hookah-shisha was better quality but still not as wet as Al Fakher should be. AlFakherOnline.com is a direct order website. You get it straight from Al Fakher. I'd suggest giving it a try!

Most of my dealings with them are great. I think it was just that one order. The shisha wasn't as wet as it was supposed to be. My apricot doesn't really smell like anything. The strawberry turned out fine. Banana just turned out to be a funky flavor. The grape was a little disappointing (not wet enough). I love Hookah-shisha.com. I think the weather ruined the shisha. I guess ordering shisha around summer is the worst time to order. I hope Alfakheronline.com turns out to be fine. Hopefully it wont be too hot when they deliver.

There are a couple of people on the forum who have just recently ordered some Al Fakher from alfakheronline.com and should tell us all how much "better" it is, as they advertise. I'm placing an order for their large hookah tomorrow, but unfortunately I can not afford to add any shisha to my order right now and will have to wait until my next paycheck. It comes with one free 50g tobacco of my choice so I guess I can add any comments about it when I do a review for the hookah/site.

I did order from them and just got mine yesterday. CA to VA over the weekend. Sat in the post office Monday till I got it yesterday. It's been in the upper 90's for the last 5-6 days.

Package was slightly stained from the juice - the shisha was perfect although - drippy as hell! Smoked like a dream for 3 hours!

I'd try ordering directly from them - shouldn't have any issues and the shisha should be good.

if my memory serves me, it's becasue it's tobacco based and needs an adult to pick it up... plus my post dude REFUSES to leave anything outside my door due the neighborhood I live in - it wouldn't be there by the time I got home. They left me a pick-up notice (and had the "must have person 21yr to sign" checked)

That's odd. I've ordered from other websites and I've always gotten it via UPS. They just dropped it off with no signature nor ID check. But why would the person need to be 21? You have to be at least 18 in order to smoke tobacco.
