Not Getting Any Flavor

Recommended Posts

I bought some al amir shisha from local shop yesterday. So far I've tried cherry, raspberry, and watermelon, but i seem to not be getting much flavor from them. I'm using a mini 1 hose hookah, and some coals that i bought from my local shop. What is the best way to set up for Al Amir shisha? I'm new to having my own hookah, so please fill me in. Thanks.

First of all, check that. After you've completed said task you need to remember that there are quite a few things that could effect the flavor of your shisha. My first instict says that you're probably burning it. It's also possible, though unlikely, as you've smoked from 3 different boxes, that you recieved a bad batch, or that it's really old. It's really all about experimentation. Good luck!

Check that link, it offers alot of help, but also take this into consideration:

Are you using 50g packs of Al Amir? If you are it may be the shisha/brand. I have tried about 6-8 different flavors of Al Amir and althought they all smelled different, they ALL either tasted genericly sweet or nothing at all.

Maybe try the 250g tubs or a different brand of shisha.

If smoke is thin:

a. Try more tobacco
b. More coal

If smoke is thick:
a. Try less coal or
b. Different brand of coals. Edited by Sonthert
note: b) or b. is fine...B with a ) makes a cool smiley
