PersianPride
Ok so a lot of people have talked about how they improve the 'cloud production' of their tobacco by the addition of glycerine. But no one has actually said how they apply it and in what quantity. Can someone elaborate, for example I heard some suggesting that they rub it on the inner bowl surface prior to adding tthe tobacco while others have just said the mix it into the tobacco. Also does the addition of glycerine dilute the taste?
Johnny_D
Mix it with honey and just pour it into the tobacco and fix the living dayslights out of it.Leave to settle for a bit (couple of hours).Smoke.JD
Sonthert
Yes, glycerine will dilute the flavor. For a 20g bowl, an amount the size of a quarter is about right (6 drops or so).
billy
I used 4 coals (Jap Easy Lights) instead of 3 and I had some sick ass smoke
ezie
For a standart bowl [i'm guessing a medium bowl] one small teaspoon should be enough, too much of glycerine will effect the flavor. If you don't have glycerine, honey is an alternative. Just add it to the shisha and mix it. Once done you are ready for a great session. 3rooker
You don't wanna use to much. I usually use like a teaspoon (larger size bowl) and just blow it off the spoon into the shisha, cuz it just scatters lol.TX
tj154906
I'd like to give this a shot, especially with some of my older, dryer shisha. Where could one procure some glycerin? Is it expensive?

Sonthert
Sure, let me know what flavors you guys want.Allia, I wanted to discuss a guinea pig/testing assignment with you on this matter... I've offered this for awhile...of course this is Hookah Forum and not Sex Lube Forum. The best way to introduce this to a young lady is to have her smoke the flavor and askwhat she thinks of the "flavor" and always refer to it as the "flavor". Then say "I've got another way I'd like you to try this flavor." or alternately "I've got another way I'd like to try this flavor."

Calcartman
Is this the right stuff? I bought it at safeway today. Active Ingrediant is Glycerin Anhydrous 99.5%
Calcartman
Well i definitely added more than a few drops to my dry hookahhookah strawberry, figure something like 12-15 drops, but it basically all absorbed straight into the shisha (i dont know if thats a good sign or not), and it took a lot more heat than usual to start (duh), but its smoking very well, and still has as much flavor as usual. Just go to the pharmacy like you're picking up a perscription and ask for glycerine, if they ask what its for i said lubricant, the bottle says skin protection but she knew what i meant. mrmonk7663
I might try some of that myself. I used a bit of honey today for a test (I put honey mixed with Al Fakher, which is already super moist) and it really didn't add anything to my experience. Later today I used straight Al Fakher and it worked better than mixed with honey. My guess is that the Al Fakher is moist enough already. Perhaps the honey would work with some Naklah better, as it seems to be a bit dryer than some of the other shisha I have.
