Yes, im aware you haven't tried it.
However, did you try looking in the review section for where other people might have posted, if they had tried them?

You might want to try reading the how to post thread in the HELP section. Look at your top right screen. Yes. I didn't even bother clicking the links. Not on my list of reputable companies. I'd say just go with Jap Easy-Lites.

Your a fool if you pay out that kinda money for Silver Light coals.

Most vendors do these :-

For around $7 for a box of 96. I've used them for months now with no complaints. a great coal.

Okay, first you used a tangiers bowl like me. Then a benzomatic torch like me.
Now you use the same coal as me.

Damnit man, are you a british clone of me? wink.gif

Those coals look like they would work, like Jamal, the site looks dodgy, i dont think those coals would hurt you but thats really expensive for coals! the most i have paid is $2 a roll for golden and 3kings quicklights, now i pay $13 a box for 3k. and yes, bad posting method, probably could have gone in review but as it is a question, well idk, i havent been here long so i can't give you good advise. and to strait out answer your question: maybe (not from that site though), no, no, and no again.

Give the guy a break. No one gives a shit if he posted four different times. It was in his own thread. And to stay on topic, no I've never tried those coals and I also use the Japanese Easy Lites.

I agree. Give the guy a break. He's new. I remember not knowing how to use a forum when I first got here. Welcome to the forum markchan. Hope you find all the information you need and get all the help you can.

Easy Lites are not even close to as good as Japanese coals. Period.

In my opinion, of course.

In fact, I hate them just for claiming to be Japanese Charcoal.

I still sell them...for $5 a box. They wholesale out around the same as most Japanese coals...$36/case (24 units/case). Diamantes since they went down in quality have gone up to $50-$60 a case.

Uh... he joined before you, man.

Me: April 30, 2007
Him: May 6, 2007
March, April, May wink.gif

He joined after me, but still, he obviously doesn't post much, look at his count. I can see how it happened. It really doesn't matter.

markchan, check the Vendor Reviews section for some reliable vendors and check the Coal Reviews in the Product Reviews section for Jap Easy-Lites.

those silver coals are horrid stay away from them at all costs. id prefer authentic japanese coals but are pricey as hell and bought easy lites only cuz i was on a budget. the quality between authentics and easy lites or any other knock brand is so huge if you got the xtra cash go for the real deal such as the golden japanese charcoals. they light super fast burn clean and barely even ash. no xtra taste either w00t w00t

I would have to strengously disagree with this x'

I used to purchase the 'authentic' one's from hookahcompany and since switching
i really cannot find much difference.

I've probably used between 10-15 boxes of these and the quality is great. Even heat, no taste, nice ashing.

Just my experience of course.

The ash is all white ask dusty...True Japanese coals have black clumpy ash...which clean off easier AND they have less sulfur...and sulfur is probably one of the biggest contributors to health effects of charcoal, by my theories.
