armandocerna
I have been lurking here for a few weeks and read the various pieces of advice when purchasing my hookah. I bought a 18" hookah on ebay from taqseem and I got it in the mail and it is great quality it works great. I have been smoking it for a couple of weeks now. And I was enjoying it indoors, until one day. I was sitting in a chair with wheels on it and it rolled over the hose and caught on the hookah causing it to come crashing down. The glass bowl didn't break the only damange that I can see is that the screw in threads for the little straw piece that goes into the water broke off. I did manage to get the broken off piece of thread out of the hole and now there is about a half a thread on straw remaining and it screws in barely. My question is, is there some place that i can get a replacement little straw piece without having to order an entire new hookah? Thank you for your help Armando
mushrat
Hmmm....you may try contacting taqseem. I'll check some of the other sites around. You MAY be able to being it to a hardware store and just find anothr piece of threaded pipe in the plumbing dept. You don't have to tell the salesman what its for.... $.
cypress
You might try solder or jb weld.
mushrat
I don't think they come back to check this thread cypress. Also I'm not sure if jb weld will work on welding the threaded part back...could be wrong.
cypress
the intent was to secure the downpiece to the rest of the hookah permantly.
