Just Got My Hookah Vortex, Few Questions

Recommended Posts

1 is, i ordered the 2 hose option (when ordering from hookah-shisha.com)

but it diddnt come with a plug incase i just want to use it with 1 hose.. is it necessary to plug the other side because it has the little ball bearing in the hose port. If this is not clear i'll try and take some pictures to better explain

2 the base seems very very thin, iam very scared of busting this while trying to clean it.. any of you vortex users agree with the thin base?

its a beautifull hookah, and comes in a beautifull case, iam gonna try it out either later tonight or tomororw and post some reviews.

the ball bearing works just like a stopper so you dont need to use a plug its also used so when you have 2 hoses in you dont have to hold your thumb over the tip of the hose so the other pesron can smoke you'll be fine without a stopper.

I too got a Mya Vortex, about two weeks ago. I was really hoping that I was the exception, and that maybe only my glass was exceptionally thin, but I guess this might just be how they are.

It is indeed a beautiful and functional hookah, but I am constantly scared of breaking this super-thin glass. I have been contemplating trying to find some sort of clear varnish or lacquer that I could coat on the outside to lend some more support. If anyone has any ideas or experience with this, I would love to know.

Regardless, have fun with the Vortex!

Well I'm glad mine's thick! The ball bearing acts as the plug, just like any other one hose hookah.
