chinamon
does that mean i will need a little more heat than i use for it?

symptom CY
Nakhla that comes in jars tends to be a little wetter. I wish they sold more flavors that way...
mushrat
ya, you can add quite a bit of heat to nakhla, not impossible to burn. But harder.
oggie505#2
usually nakhla likes heat, i make a mound of it, then just throw a quicklite on it, always smokes like a champ

Nakhla is basically a toss one coal on the middle and smoke it kinda shisha.
chinamon
i just opened another box of nakhla (orange) that i bought while in tunisia and its dried out because nakhla didnt seal the bag properly. theres a huge hole in the seal.

That's a bugger Nahkla orange is a great smoke! You might be able to revive it with some glycarin. But i did not have much luck with that.Try some natural honey and glycarin mix and leave it in the tobacco for a day or three.JD
DrunkenWizard
I've had Nakhla Mandarin and it is bad ass. Is it the same as orange? And yeah, it's dry. Edited June 20, 2007 by DrunkenWizard

And yeah, it's dry.my opionion , when you buy same hookah tobacco must be close with a seal with a bag multifolid (polyliner/alumium/poliliner) in this way all the aroma gliceryn and tobacco cannot loose any flovers and you can have a nice smoking.it's not a matter when the tobacco wos packed or if you like nakhla or other brands, the topics is the way how the tobacco is packed. if you need to add gliceryn it's mean that quality is very poor.hallo to everybodies and thanks to support the hookah smokers. Johnny_D
Hi Gia & Welcome...Post an introduction post though In response to your comments above, it'd say it's only partially true. We have seen with 'steves' recent sales of Al Waha that was out of date it still smoked ok.Packed well, and kept in teh right conditions your probably right.I wouldn't consider nahkla low-quality... I think chinamon just got unlucky with one bad bag.I tend to find nahkla is more traditional and tends to be smoked by the older-school smokers. In comparison why do i love layalina? Because i dont' have to think about it, it's easy Nahkla i have to think aboutand work at.JD

Sonthert
I love Nahkla. I liked Nahkla Mandarin Orange...Mr. Moodz turned me on to it. Yes, it is dryish. Doesn't matter. It used to come in brick like structures...you have to use a fork to scrape it off. Edited June 21, 2007 by Sonthert
chinamon
i smoked the el basha cappucino today and i didnt like it. it took longer for the bowl to heat up compared to havana. and the smoke seemed a lot harsher than havana. no buzz too. i never got a buzz from havana either. i dont think any shisha is capable of giving me a buzz since ive been a regular cigarette smoker since 1992.
