Figure we start a pipe smoking thread.

I love my cigars, but I also like a good pipe smoke. Unfortunately only 1 survived the move to england, so when i go back to the states in Nov, I will have to get a few more and some good tobbacco. I am not paying the UK prices for it..lol

I am a fan of cherry blends, but I also like a nice english blend. I usually buy my pipe tobbacco from Old virginia tobbacco barns, I love their yachtman blend

pipe smoker here.

I'm a huge church warden fan. I love long stemmed pipes. I like alot of Cavendish. My favorite branded tobaccos are Peterson's Sunset breeze (amaretto) and for english you cant beat some Night Cap!

I somewhat of a novice pipe smoker. I get this house-blended stuff from a tobacco store in Omaha called 14 Karat. Good stuff, nice and mellow. I had a two pipes, but when my dad was helping me move out of my dorm room back in March failed to put them in his pocket, and they were crushed underneath my computer monitor ohmy.gif So yeah, I'm back to zero pipes again.

While shopping for some cigars, I was reccomended to a nice pipe tobbacco fromt eh davidoff guys. its called Peterson special reserve. i t has a very nice fruit/spice aroma, and was pleased with jus the smell. I lite some up last night and the aroma and smoke was excellent. I will have to keep this on the shelf, it reminds me of the yachtsman brand I get in the states

i smoked pipe for about 3-4 months before i moved on. i may not have been doing it right but the hassle of trying to keep it lit was annoying. there was a nice cavendish my friend got me i have never been able to find again called 'nougat'. it tasted almost like a 3 musketeers bar in a cloud. so good. still have that pipe somewhere collecting dust..
