cliffylm
So you have been smoking hookah for a while and you have tried different kinds of flavors from various manufacturers. You have mixed and matched or whatever, the point is, what is your single most exciting smoking experience?
KillZedKill
We had a MYA QT, with bacardi Orange rum in the base. The bowl was packed with blackberry shisha, I can't remember what brand, but it was amazing! Great buzz.
tj154906
I'm not SUPER experienced, I've been smoking for about two years but have just gotten into all the different brands and such. That being said, the best smoke I think I've ever had was with Al-Waha "Honey" shisha. I used a bowl carved from a red delicious apple and put a bit of milk in the base with the ice water. Wow was that tasty.
leadpipecinch21
it was probably the second or third time i'd been to the hookah bar i used to always go to. The place had been opened for, god...2 weeks? something like that. Anyways, my group of friends and i were getting chummy with the owner, and he offered us a free bowl...he asked us what we wanted, and we said surprise us. I was figuring we'd just be getting apple or something like that. Anyways, he dropped off the hookah, and the first pull it just hit amazingly. It'd been started a little, but wasn't fully running and it was still a great hit. Then, after two or three hits the flavor just pulled through so well..so very very tasty. Couldn't quite put my finger on the flavors, but it was fruity, and delicious. Cappuccino(just a real tiny bit), blackberry, double apple, and strawberry, with a sprinkling of mint. omfg it was delicious. I've tried to replicate that night by myself, but nothing's come close...it was just the most amazing smoking, most amazing tasting hookah i'd ever smoked. indy
LOL, I'm not sure about best experience but I've got a funny one. I'd just come back from a hookah bar where they put some wine in the base for us. I'd never tried that before and it was pretty damn good so I though, hell why not? So off to Jewel I went and bought some cheap merlot. I wasn't sure how much to put in so I put 1/2 a bottle in. It was like I was drinking the wine straight! WAAAAY too much. Don't suggest you try it. 1/4 or 1/3 would probably have been perfect but 1/2 is a no go.
cemab4y
I was in a little arabian shop in Nashville (Tenn). I found some packets of "Zaghloul" Egyptian tobacco. The boxes were obviously quite old, and covered with dust. I bought three packets, and took them home. The cellophane was dried out, and disintegrated. The tobacco, was old and dry. I carefully sprayed a water mist on the leaves, and gently packed a bowl, and lit it off. ZOW ! BANG ! What a rush! Just shows that you can get a surprise anywhere. Sonthert
I'm biased, of course, but one night me and my friends were smoking Nahkla Double Apple at my friend's beach-side apartment in Mission Beach. The buzz was great, the smoke was perfect, the time was memorable. We smoked a 250g in one night!
blacklabelqlewis
juice from a honeydew melon, cantaloupe, and watermelon fruit salad in the base with pieces of each added. i poured in a splash of cherry dr. mcgillicuddys (spelling) and topped off the rest with water. we smoked some grape taru shisha after the base sat in the fridge for a few hours, and it tasted somewhat like grape jolly ranchers. that was the most exciting as for flavor, but the most memorable session would have to be the first time me and my lady (more like female version of myself) hit the hookah together with some friends at a little get together a while back. it was the first time we each really noticed the other (before we were even together). we cant really recall the shisha we were smoking but that figures cuz we were both more concentrated on getting to know each other lol. banned vendor
QUOTE (KillZedKill @ Jun 21 2007, 02:40 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>We had a MYA QT, with bacardi Orange rum in the base. Great buzz. You know I've tried adding alcohol twice over the years; once with Vodka (10% vodka, 90% water) and once with red wine in the base (10% wine, 90% water) and I didn't feel anything "extra" from the alcohol. What am I doing wrong?

ezie
I have been smoking hookah for about a year or so and the most exciting hookah experiences is when i smoke Layalina rasberry for the 1st time. My hopes were high at that time because i heard good review about them. I set my hookah up and pack the shisha and i didn't know that Layalina was very wet so i'm thinking this is going to be a long session. Then I set up my coal and begin the session. First 10 minutes of smoking i can't taste the flavor so i keep on smoking for half an hour but still no flavor. The smoke i huge and white so i'm guessing my heat management is okay but why is there no flavor. So i finish my bowl early that day and PM JD for tip. He gave me a good tip and straight away i setup my hookah again as JD instructed. The first 10 minutes were the same but later i can taste the rasberry. Now layalina is my favorite shisha apart from Al-fakher. The funnel will make the taste more noticeable in my opinion due to the juice is not dripping into the stem. Thats my experience thanks JD for the tip you gave me if you remember have a nice day
