Well a good starting point perhaps would be to re-read the forum rules, because some things have changed for vendors since you were last here, and perhaps an explanation as to why you fell off the face of the earth?

Everything that was promised will be given, I already sent john an email explain everything to him. All I wanted to do is apologize to every one, and give you the real reason why I shut down. About 7 months ago my father passed away and it took a toll on me physically and mentally. I started not to care about anything. But every thing is different now, new staff, new products, a new partner. John’s hookah is already being made. And as I told him we are shooting for a week after the site is opened it will be sent to him.

Well if I remember the story correctly you promised the bloke several times that the shisha was already made and even told him that you were displaying it an Arabic festival. Not making a shisha and then not responding to emails because you are traumatized about something I can very much understand. However it actually takes quite a lot of effort to construct an intricate ball of lies.

Anyway the ironic thing now however is that the guy has actually given up smoking so your reparation isn't really going to do him any good.

Thank you all for your support! and to the others well i dont know what to say except you are intitled to your opinion and what was me and john is between me and him and the past is the past.

the site is coming along smoothly for those of you who care and price-wise it will be alot lower everything all around even the gucci hoses. AF will probebly be like $5 for the 250g and hookahs are all going to be my own brand half made in egypt and the rest made in china my own designs (not just copies)

oh if any one lives in the anaheim area and would like to work as a staff member contact me at sales@pimpyourhookah.com as for this thread i am done with talking about pimp your hookah on this forum.

Hey folks, I just wanted to step in here and say that Billy did in fact e-mail me and explained the whole situation. I, in turn, explained my own to him, and basically told him there is no need to go to all that trouble for a hookah that will just sit on a shelf. I'm bummed, because it is the only thing in my life that I have ever won, but in the end I think it is the right thing for me to do, and spare him the time and work it will take to get me my prize. Now that I know what has been going on, there are no hard feelings on my side towards him, and I wish him the best. I think you all should give him a chance when/if his site comes back up, because he was doing a pretty awesome job price and service wise before his life got turned upside down.

I once bought a bottle of Jarritos Mexican pineapple soda. They had a promotional prize giveaway...I looked at the underside of the lid and it said, more or less, "grand prize", with a prize code number and a toll free-number to call. I looked on the panel of the bottle that depicted the prizes, the grand prize was a trip for four to Florida and a Minivan. I also noted the key material there "Unclaimed prizes will be given away by second-chance drawing." I called the toll-free number immediately when I got home and found it was...disconnected. I looked more closely at the side of the bottle and found out that the contest had been over for three months.

When you see a contest on a chip package or soda bottle, get the address of the manufacturer, call them up and find out how to enter the second-chance drawing...its like a raffle through the mail. By law, they have to give out all the prizes, and like the minivan and trip to FL they were given to a person who was one of a small group of people who entered this second chance drawing. If you want to win prizes, thats where the winning is.

I also once won a trip to San Diego...of course, I live in San Diego, so it wasn't too exciting.

Welcome back to the Forum.

Just wanted to tell you all that I spoke with Bilal today, and he is being very, very, VERY cool about my situation. As many of you know, I won a totally pimped out custom hookah from him awhile back, and never received it (due to his father's passing, as he has explained above). In an e-mail, I talked to him about how I have given up hookah, but he said he still wants to do something special for me, being that I won that nice machine and never got it. He said he'd always feel guilty if he didn't do something, so he has promised to send me something sweet instead of the hookah, being that it would just sit here calling for me to fall off the non-smoking wagon night and day...

Guilty feeling or no, I think it says something about his character that he wants to come through for me though I am no longer a hookah head. Anyway, we'll see what, if anything, shows up at my door. I told him that really, he didn't have to do anything at all considering his family circumstances, but he insisted. I jokingly gave him an idea of a subsitute in my e-mail (which I will not mention), and he took it at face value and said "sure, I'll send ya X". I was shocked. I told him to send me whatever he feels would be fair, and we will leave it at that.

SO, I have a feeling that all of that drama from months ago regarding the contest will have some form of resolution for me in the days to come. Though it has been a long time coming, it looks like Billy will finally deliver, albeit in a non-hookah way, which is fine by me, being where I am with hookah now. Thanks to Bilal, and I'll let y'all know what happens in the end.

HAha, thats the same as if I won a trip to DC. I would be so blown that I have been there way to many times and I won a trip to visit the same crap again.
