[attachment=391:d2_rave.jpg]

Hey Guys!! I am looking for a new hookah and i really liked the way this one looked. I wanted to ask everyone else's opinion of it. Also, does anyone know the quality of hookahs that come from thehookah.com? Also, if there are better ones that are this size or that you've had a good experience with, i am curious about that as well. thanks!! rolleyes.gif

Or X..

I think it's called the "Raver" wacko.gif

Mya QT and Bambino are small machines. Good quality.. Probably a little more pricey, but they will probably offer a better smoke.

The base on that looks Acrylic, which can have its advantages. Edited by SmokeMojo

I actually really like the way that base is colored, it's pretty trippy. would definitely enjoy looking at it. However I have no idea how this thing smokes, but i'm sure you could get it going pretty good.

Be careful. I've heard bad reviews about that site. I just picked up a Gooza. Perfect size and weight for only 12.99 you could hold it and walk around. Its got a pipe instead of a hose which is perfect for typing and playing video games while smoking. Smokes great! biggrin.gif

Oh yes I forgot about Gooza's those are handy little guys. That may also be an option if you're looking for a small hookah.
Where did you find a gooza at that price? Edited by SmokeMojo

Mya's are made from low-quality metrials.
don't even try and explaining things to me, mya's aren't solid hookahs they are well built and thier bases are preety and all buy mya is built from low-quality metal.
you can't get a good high-quality hookah in the usa so don't even bother...
on the subject, it's not my cup of tea aswell but maybe doped-up kids will like it, if i was drunk or high i would certinly like it smile.gif, but seriously if you like the base than good for you, just make your not getting a high price, and myas are the best american hookahs you can get, just because they are well builty and screw.
but just so you know... a real high-quality metal hookah don't go bad like all the hookahs you know... most of your mya or other hookahs go bad after a year or two depending how you take care of it, but a real solid hookah won't go bad only if you break it.
btw, KMs suck aswell. they are inferior to other brands and make medicore hookahs, i have one it's good and all but i have a chinese high quality metal that spits fire smile.gif, so don't judge the chinese brand smile.gif

I think you're getting a little off topic tkato. This isn't about Mya's or KM's or what you can get in the US. It's about the hookah he is looking at, and what other hookahs he may be able to purchase that are similar. wink.gif

well, i was looking to spend about 50 bucks anyway. do you guys think it would be a better deal just to pick up a bambino or qt? i know they are right at $50. i am really looking for something small and functional. any thoughts? i was also wondering what you guys thought about the small egyptians from hookahcompany.com? are they made crappily since they are cheaper? just curious as a newb. tongue.gif

I recommend you getting the QT but it's your choice. For the price you can't beat MYA. If you want to have a second hose just buy the adaptor for the QT. QT are worth your money. Peace smile.gif

Hookah styles have been copied and duplicated for many years. How do you justify a fake hookah? It's not like you are comparing ROLEX watches. There are no mechanical parts to a hookah. It is actually a very primitive piece of equipment. So as long as the pieces are made well and fit together nicely then you will get a great smoking hookah.

Many of the hookahs nowadays are being mass produced in China including MYA hookahs. So if you don't care for authenticity a Chinese hookah might do you very well. As long as a hookah smokes well, is durable, practical, functional and fits your style then go for it. Don't let the brand be your deciding factor. Lets not label hookahs as fakes. There is not one company or country that single handedly made the hookah what it is today. Todays hookah is a result of collaborative designs from various countries and companies which has evolved throughout the years.
