poopooshaboo
Honestly from all that I'm hearing about MYA quality control problems, unless you're going to get an acrylic I'd stay away from MYA.
hooky1742
what quality control issues about mya are these? I have only ever heard rave reviews about how brilliant mya's are. I have heard KM are the ones having trouble at the moment...That Al Fakher one looks really nice, i have to say. Anyone out there had experience with it to offer an experienced perspective? anathema
imo, those al fakher logos are bad.to answer hooky's question:some people have posted about their glass bases regarding the thickness of the bottom layer. Some say it's really thin some say it's thick, and some hint at the new ones being thinner.
DrunkenWizard
I have the 26" Al Fakher and it is the shit!!! I did a review in the pipe review section. Check it out.
ezie
For my money i'll go with the Al-fakher hookah, order it straight from alfakheronline.com wait a couple of days and when it arrived i'll be smoking Al-fakher Mint straight. If i can't get the al fakher hookah then i'll go with the vortex. Regarding the vortex base thinner you can always contact them and MYA will exchange the base with another one. Well thats my opinion.
