loonibab
Well, I just purchased my first hookah, but I really am not a big fan of those quicklites.. I really like natural coals.. so my question is, how do you guys with apartmants and no grill light your natural coals?? is their any butane powered mini grill out there or something that is good for liteing them??Thanks in advanced!-Abe. MechAnt
Any sort of stove would work just fine. Including those electric coil types. Something I recently discovered that works EXTREMELY well at lighting Japs are those butane torch lighters that are meant for cigars and such. Work like a charm. ezie
get a propane blow torch thats gonna work fine lighting your natural coal but if you don't have that, the ordinary stove works fine too. natural coal takes plenty of time to light up with matches so get the blow torch. *HOT&SMOKING*
HeyWhat we once used when we had no way of going to buy coal and had to use natural coals,we used a little camping gas cooker it works really well. You can just leave the coal on the grid while you prepare the other things for your hookah a picture is attached as to what it looks like....you should be able to get in any camping shopH&S

We do have one that runs on propane, but its got 2 burners and is very big and heavy.
