Taking A Chance With The Tangiers

Recommended Posts

Well I put an additional order in today for more Tangiers. I've only been able to smoke this stuff a couple times with a friend, and the flavors have been limited. The smoke and flavors were just out of this world though, and the buzz was superb (and I usually don't care for buzzes). So my entire Tangiers order for this summer looks something like this, and lord I can say it wasn't cheap, but I believe it is well worth the price.

Tangiers 250g:
F-line Kashmir
F-line Red Tea
F-line Cocoa
Watermelon
Tropical Revenge
Guava
Lemon Blossom
Passion Fruit
Strawberry
Orange Soda
Kashmir Peach

I haven't had a problem with any of their other products before.. And in the times I have smoked Tangiers, I truely enjoyed it. I'm a current Starbuzz smoker, but Tangiers just seems to have more to offer overall as a Shisha and I think I may be making the transition to having a new go to smoke. Now the upside to this is.. If I don't happen to like something (which I hope is not the case).. I will be putting them up in trades! If you guys have any good flavor mixtures for these Tangiers flavors to mix with Starbuzz, Al Waha or Havana, please post em! There are going to be a hella lot of reviews to come laugh.gif

Sounds like quite a lot. But you might want to squeeze fresh lemons into the base and toss the peals in 2 for the lemon blossom. Makes it a completely different experience. Let me know how you like it....

Where did you order from? Hookah-Shisha?

Yeh Hookah-Shisha.. I was gonna go with hookahkings.com but they don't have all the flavors I was looking for. I have a pretty nice stash of Starbuzz so I think I'll be able to do some nice mixes. After smoking some of the premium tobaccos it is hard for me to really go back to the mid levels. I liked fumari, but I feel it is overpriced when tangiers easily competes and has a much better selection. Starbuzz is a good calm smoke for me, no buzz but smoothness all the time. Tangiers is the kind of smoke that I would call an "experience" while smoking shisha. It has the full effect, the flavor, aroma, smoke and buzz. I really enjoy it when I can have all of those things from one tobacco.

I also have 5 smileys flavors coming in HOPEFULLY. It's been 12 days and I contacted Randy Smiley and he said that I was one of the last orders for nargile club and that my order was being shipped.. So who knows, I couldn't really wait so I went ahead and ordered the extra Tangiers.

Any mixes with smiley/tangiers as well?

Heheh, awesome order. I'm craving the Guava now. I had some a while ago and it was real good... I remember enjoying it mixed with Kashmir, too.

One question about the Strawberry. I hear that Tangiers strawberry is one of the few brands that is true to the strawberry flavor and it doesn't have that chemical strawberry taste to it. Is this true? Strawberry as a real fruit is one of my favorites, and I've been trying to find a brand that tasted good and heard Tangiers was the place to find it. I've tried several other brands of strawberry and I've been sorely disappointed.

Now if I could only find STARFRUIT flavored shisha.. Man I love those things.

*nudges Eric* STARFRUIT!!!

It does seem like a lot now that I look at it.. I'm sure once it's all laid out in front of me I'll really be dumbfounded. I need something new, I've been smoking havana, al waha and starbuzz for a long time now and I think I'm ready for the full effect.

I placed an order for Smileys as I said earlier and I don't even know where that is..
I think I got five 150g tubs of:
Naughty Cow
Prickly Pear
Bubbleberry
Watermelon
Peach

I've never purchased or smoked Smiley's before, so I went completely on reviews. If I don't like it I'll sell it off or use it as a flavor enhancer or filler for another shisha. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with all of this.. I'll probably stare at it for awhile tongue.gif I figure with all the Starbuzz I have here, I can make some pretty good mixes with the Tangiers. I liked the Fumari I tried, but I feel it's overpriced for the amount and smoke.

Soo uhh.. Today 6 of the 250g bags of Tangiers came in.. I get the other 5 tomorrow.

This is A LOT of shisha. Even my 250g Starbuzz doesn't seem like nearly this much. It looks like Tangiers has a lot more fluff right out of the pack than most brands.. I can't imagine what another 1250g is going to look like... I wanna say maybe I went overboard..

HAHAHA Yeah right.. You can never have TOO much shisha tongue.gif

OW! Who nudged me? Starfruit? What the f-?

Good piece of thinking there, man. Lots of Tangiers...like Albert Einstein was reincarnated! dry.gif

The only way you'll know what starfruit tastes like is if you go to the produce section and buy one or two for yourself. I can't even describe it.. Maybe a light citrus flavor with a hint of apple.. I dunno it's just too good.

Actually, I have had them...getting a company to produce a good flavor of one...thats another problem. I've only found one company with an Acai berry flavor...crummy. Bitter, sour. Disappointing.
