Ss Egyptian Bowl Broke On The Bottom

I accidentally put the bowl on too tightly and a few pieces on the very bottom broke off. I can tape it up well and it still has the same suction power, but can I use something like superglue with out any nasty things happening? All of the gluing will take place around the grommet and in places that won't touch the smoke.

I could always get a new bowl, but I do like the current bowl a lot. Would it be ok to glue it back together?

A replacement bowl is going to be so cheap it's funny.

I would, personally, NOT use superglue. There are clay glues available :-
