MonkeyBiz
Okay, so I noticed earlier this weekend that the cut of the tobacco in my AF tubs was completely different from the stuff I got in the sample packs. The stuff in the tubs didn't have the reddish tint to it or the fineness of the cut that the stuff in the packs did. Anyone know if this is unique to the tubs or is it the same with the boxes as well? Thanks.
King Mo
I have 2 different apple fakhers, in the small box it is a red colour, in the big box it was brown. the brown tasted far better.

alen
The a.f golden series are called golden just for the goldenbrown colour of the tobacco (thats what they told me anyway) the regular a.f is often red but as mo say there seems to differ from time to time - or maybe was they run out of colouring when they made that certain batch same thing happend to tobbsman with some habibi ive heard -and remember when it comes to living material as tobacco and fruit the quality from crop to crop varies depends on weather and other thing thats why they cant taste exactly the same over and over like coca cola for example- dry summers makes one kind of quality and a wet one makes a another so dont expect the tobacco taste the same from batch to batch it never will- same with the molasses anyway that was what a guy whos dealing in tobacco told me and i think math have the same experience with cigars and some other have it with wine when you think of it it will make sence right
alen
oh yeah another thing the factorys who make our ma:sell isnt any big multicompanies most of them are small old and very out of date if you compare with ours in the western world (exept fakher who is kind of new 1997 i think -correct me if im wrong)- but i think that it the same with factorys here - there are some teams working better than another team and things like monday ex are common there too i mean you can buy a mercedes and still get problems after a week just beacuse the guys who put it together been on a week long rave or somethin (just kidding but you know what i mean right so i think we will find both good and bad batches out there in the future and i think we have to accept that take care everybody - Alen
MonkeyBiz
Okay, maybe I didn't explain it clearly enough. In my 50g boxes, the tobacco is always very fine, has the consistency of strawberry jam, and is always a deep red color. In my 250g tubs, its a fine cut, looks like the other kinds of tobacco, and is a brown color. I order direct from BNN Import and Export. So, why the difference? I thought the red stuff was much more flavorful than the brown. Anyone have any other thoughts?
alen
i had a 250g of al fakher coconut and it was the same red colouring as in the 50g box and the same cut too- but the 250g double apple was as you said like a pulp or jam- is it the same everytime you buy a tub ? beacuse i have also had an al fakher regular apple tub once and it was red coloured too?? lets hope there only was a bad batch and the next are allrightand if you got an expl from them please let us know
alen
Oh btw the only tubs and flavours i have had that were brownish were their cappuchino and arc sous+the golden seal- but i suppose you are talking about the regular fruit flavours and just to give example how uneven things could be- i just picked up a 250g of nakhla two apples and as most of you guys know there use to be a lot of stems and crap in their tobacco- but guess what- this batch were nearly without any crap at all and the cuttings were much finer too nakhla goes premium cut ?-dont think so but good things do happen (sorry for all posts)
