Luke69
I was cleaning my hookah. First i let it soak in some normal water and scrubbed it out using a cleaning rod. Then i poured some boiling water down it a couple of times. After that i poured some apple cider vingegar down it and plugged the end with a tissue so it would kind of soak in the stem. The tissue would let the vinegar drip out slowly. After a while a bright green liquid started coming out. Before the vingar everything was clear water coming out. Just wondering what this was. Maybe some weird chemical reaction.

mrmonk7663
The green stuff comes out every time I clean my Hookah. It comes out of my Mya Hookah, My Egyptian Hookah, My little Chinese Hookah. It is part of the residue from the tobacco.

oggie505#2
it could be the acid in the vinegar reacting with the metal in the hookah, only when I smoke nakhla i get the green liquid when cleaning, so next time do not let the vinegar soak long then do a cleaning with hot water again
mrmonk7663
Hmm, yah sounds like the vinegar reacted. Anyway, what do you mean by the Vinegar works wonders? What exactly did it do for you, just assist in cleaning or improve taste/flavor?
