dingusjt
This being my first post..hello everyone. I absolutely love the unique hose covers found on Hookah bros hookahs and few others...however I'm using 72" pleather hoses and would like to get custom covers to better fit the coloring of my hookah setup. has anyone made their own hookah hose covers? if so then how do I do it? I like the pleated/crushed velvet look and would prefer to go that route i'm just not sure how to go about it so any suggestions would be great! mushrat
Welcome! Making a straight hose cover would be easy. Just pick the material you like. If you already have a cover, lay it flat and measure how wide it is. Add about a 1/4 inch for the seam. cut out the strip. Turn it inside out and run a seam along the edges no more than 1/8 of an inch in from the edge to make a tube. Depending on how you want to secure it at the ends you can sew in a draw string. I can describe that if you want. Turn your tube right side out, poof a cover. For pleats or puffs...hmm..I'd have to ask a friend on that one. That help?
