got the large cobra hoses from nazarhookah.com smoked great, no new hose taste, large handle fits perfectly in my hand, nice length and whatnot. So yeah if yah need a new hose go for this one. Although I would only recommend these if your hookah is 30+ inches otherwise its gonna look silly/not fit

fifi cobra hose from hookah-shisha. pretty bitchin, really makes your hookah look unique. it had a plastic-like taste when i breathed through it, but that went away after a minute of doing that. wider than a regular hose, so big plus on that. the cobra part at the top unscrews from the wood handle. everybody should have one of these!!! o yeah and watch out around young cats, these drive them crazy

Fumari's Fifi Abdo Hookah Hose

I like it, the feel of this hose is awesome, although I'm afraid that it weighs my hookah to one side that i'm always afraid that it would fall over. That's why every time i use this hose the hookah has to be on the ground, or the hose will fall off. it's sexily smooth.

Does anyone also know if I can wash this? I don't think so, but I'm not an expert.

Stock Cobra hose:
so i've gotten four cobra hoses, and bought them from several places.
DO NOT BUY THIS HOSE!
If you will take a Q-tip and run it on the inside of the bottom of the hose, you will rub off green paint. That cannot be healthy for you.

my hookah is a 30in Pharoah, and it came with cobra hoses, the only thing i find wrong with it, is that you have to thumb the hoses with my hookah, and they you cant really utilize the comfy handle

i had a problem with my cobras that came with my egyptian from hookahkings.com.

One of them now tastes like ass because the metal coils or whatever inside the hose has rusted. this may not have been a problem if i had purged the hose inbetween hits. but still, even if you purge the hose, sometimes moisture from the vapor can still stay inside the hose and rust it out unless there's a protective lining. also, it's too short. 54" is not enough slack without fear of pulling the hookah and knocking it on its side. looks cool, the cobra design is relaxing to smoke, but unless you are really carful, it'll rust.

i think i'll look into buying cobras from a different company. if anyone has run into the same problem, please let me know that i'm not alone.

Edit: i'd like to clerify that hookahkings.com are not at fault for the rusting. it's just the way the cobras are. they are not washable and have the possibility of rusting. i should have gotten a hose from hookah-shisha.com. thier cobra hoses have a protective lining that reduces the possibility of rusting, but not eliminating the possibility.

Anyone who does not want a hose that rusts: make sure it says "washable." those are the only kind that can't rust. Edited February 8, 2008 by Dom

Just got it 2 days ago and the hose feels really sturdy. The handle is a pretty nice too. Its pretty comfortable and good width. The angled head is nice when you just want to lounge back and let it rest it on your chest. all things considered, I am pleased with the hose. Looks real nice, smokes nicely, the only gripe i have is that the hose feels a little restricted due to the slightly small tip on the hose.

I don't like the multiple ridges on the metal tip. I use mouth tips to get around that. But it's a study hose and good if you keep in mind that it won't last a year.
