My Hookah Set Up Is Too Good!

I have just proved that it is possible to set up a hookah too well!

I just stopped smoking my hookah after about 30 minutes because the smoke was so thick that I began to get a headache from lack of oxygen. It was using my 28" Egyptian pipe, a small phunnel bowl w/mod, Starbuzz Lemon Mint shisha, very cold ice water in the base, and 3 japanese easy-lights. I poked 3 sections of small holes in the foil and put a coal over each section.

The smoke wasn't harsh at all, I didn't burn the shisha, and I know it wasn't a nicotine buzz because Starbuzz is washed. The smoke was just too damn thick and flavorful! It killed me. I think I'm going to step outside for some fresh air. My head is bumpin'!

I would give you +1 for setting it up so well but then again -1 as one maybe does not want that much smoke LOL

well it seems to me the only reason you got lack of oxygen is because you got no oxygen. You said you only poked 3 sections of the foil and covered each poked section with coal. You answered your own question

Just because it is washed doesn't mean you can't get a nicotine buzz. I'd say your only problem was you hit it too many times in a row. A little ventilation could have helped too.

Try a hole or two in the foil over the phunnel. That will bring more oxygen in.
