symptom CY
Pretty much all hookah tobacco has glycerin in it -- that's what produces the smoke. The base coating on the tobacco is usually either molasses, honey, or corn syrup.
ahwahoo2006
Symptom is right. From wikipedia: "Glycerol is a chemical compound with the formula HOCH2CH(OH)CH2OH. This colorless, odorless, viscous liquid is widely used in pharmaceutical formulations. Also commonly called glycerin or glycerine, it is a sugar alcohol and fittingly is sweet-tasting and of low toxicity." Basically, glycerin is the base of molasses, honey, corn syrup, etc that are used to make shisha.
Sonthert
The only commonly available molasses tobacco on the market is Tangiers. Many companies refer to corn syrup as molasses (incorrectly).
