Mathazar
I'm sittin here drinking my coffee & smokin my hookah this morning, and up rolls a fire engine with siren blasting. Then a parametics truck. Then an ambulance. Then about 30 cops block-off the street. Detective cars start pulling-up. The media rolls-up. Next come the skycam choppers. The cops taped the whole area with crimescene tape. People are running around all over the place like MADMEN. Next, outcomes the gurney to take the crime victim away in the ambulance. They immediately rushed him off to the hospital. Oh......You're wondering what happened? Okay......Around 8:30 this morning a new tenant stabbed his male roomate several times. The victim was able to make it to the elevator and down to the lobby alive. Then, the tenant with the knife committed suicide by climbing the railing of his patio and jumped 12 stories to his death. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I live in a very posh section of Milwaukee. I live in a very expensive building. Lots of professional people, young families, retirees, and singles live here. I live quite a distance from the rough section of town. It was a friggin MEDIA EVENT here today. Every tv station's camera crew and reporters showed up. I live a very quiet life, as do most of my neighbors. I guess when you're suicidal, you're capable of just about anything. One woman who was interviewed said she was on her patio having her morning coffee, when a body flew down right in front of her. WOW!!! Could you imagine?!? hookaman
lol that seems too intense for u? I live in hollywood where the gunshots pop off like bird chirps. And its quite normal I mean if one doesnt hear a gunshot or two a day then you would think something is wrong but damn thats intense seeing a body fly right in front of you while your having coffee lol. mushrat
Daaaaaamn...that'll ruin your morning. Though a strong dose of reality is good for people now and then, makes them remember that there is an outside world and lots of things going on in it should be getting their attention. mpjohnst
Wow... close to home! I was in Milwaukee last night for a party on Farwell when eveyone started telling the same story and pointing at the building! Mathazar, you do indeed live in a nice building but I wouldn't want to experience that. -Matt
Mathazar
Yeah, it doesn't surprise me that people were talking about it, because ever since it happened practically everyone who either walks by, drives by, or rides their bike by the building looks up at the apt where the event took place. Every day since it happened, all day long , people walk or jog by with their friends pointing at the scene of the crime and shaking their heads in amazement. Apparently, it was a domestic dispute between a gay couple. They were SO young, just 21 & 22. How is it that SO MUCH drama can develop between people at such a young age? From what I understand about one of those two tenants is that he may have been mentally disturbed. He was a new tenant, and on the day of move-in, apparently he moved-in wearing his pajamas. That's a little weird, as you wouldn't move into a swanky building like this wearing your pajamas. It's a bit eccentric, unless the guy was on drugs. Another theory on what might have happened that has been talked about is that while the one tenent was being stabbed, he may have pushed his roomate over the railing on the patio. From everything I heard about this case, it would seem likely that the two of them were fighting, one guy pulled a knife, and the other shoved him over the balcony. Makes more sense than the dude jumping to his death. Of course, I CERTAINLY wouldn't want to go to prison after stabbing my roomate, which is EXACTLY where that guy would have gone had he not fallen to his death. The police are calling it an apparent suicide during a domestic dispute, but others are rumoring otherwise as to what happened
