Question About Smoking-hookah.com

This is my first post, so I apologize if this has been answered before.

I placed an order Saturday night from Smoking-Hookah for a starter Hookah package. Initially I decided to cancel the order because I didn't think I wanted the package, so when I emailed S-H I told them to cancel the order. Monday morning at 4:00 AM EST I got an email saying that my order can't be cancelled because it had been shipped already. Despite responding to the email and calling the company I haven't gotten any reply. I have decided to keep the Hookah package, but I'm wondering if this is normal business for this company? I just want to be assured that I will be receiving my hookah.

Also, is it possible since it seems this is being shipped from Israel that I will have to pay duties/customs here in the USA?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

IF you do receiev the package, e-mail S-H and say I emailed you before about canceling my order ...... something like that. About Customs I dont know anything about it as im not in USA.

I certainly hope I receive the package... They have already charged my credit card!

if you dont receive your package and they have no way to prove that they shipped it, you can call your credit company and file a chargeback.

you should get the package...if not there are some legal things about that...(im pretty sure...dont know about out-of-US laws and things)...but if its already been shipped...i dont think they could cancel it even if they wanted to...its already in transit it seems like...

I'm assuming you could also ship it back. Keep calling until you talk to a real person. If they don't know, ask for a supervisor. A good piece of advice though, is to order from places in your own country.

I would have if I had known. On Smoking-Hookah.com it says they are based in Parsippany, NJ here in the US. But after reading this forum, and seeing that the website is registered in Israel, I found out otherwise. Perhaps they just use the New Jersey location as an office?

Luckily I have read on this forum that people have received orders from them, it's just been a bit frustrating as every time I call I get a recording, and their "Online Chat" function is always offline.

I'm still hoping for the best. I am really looking forward to smoking this thing.

We have dealt with S-H before in the past.

You will receive your package. It took a week for us to get ours.

Just dont assume that you will get everything matching. Or something that looks exactly like the picture.

As for customs fees....I do not think you need to worry about them...as we did not have any.

To give an update, I got an email this morning with a Tracking number, but when I go to the USPS site I get no tracking info, which is normal for a package that has just shipped, but according to the email I got early Monday morning, it had already shipped then. Hmmm...

I ordered from these guys. No problems.

Remember that Saturday night would probably be early hours sunday morning.

Sunday is a working day. So yes, it's probable they just got the order out. FAST.

Most people complain that vendors don't ship fast enough LOL.

USPS.com is crap at tracking. i wouldn't worry too much.

Well according to the updated tracking info, it just left Tel-Aviv Israel today... So I am questioning if they really sent it on Sunday like they claim. Regardless, I know it's on its way... I'm ready to smoke it... the sooner the better.

Mail cant be shipped sunday...but in anycase i think you shall recieve it monday latest tuesday
