mrmonk7663
Well, I got my Nammor Hose in today from Hookah-Shisha. Upon taking it out of the box it looked great. I got the hose after reading many happy users of the hose on this forum. Anyway, so I go to smoke my hookah. At this point in time the hose has 0 use on it. So I set the hookah up and notice that the leather like covering on the handle is already separating, I can see white through it. Needless to say this perturbs me a bit, especially since the thing was $20 something dollars. I smoked with the hose anyway. It tasted like plastic, which I guess is due to the plastic tube inside. Will this taste go away or does it never go away? The hose hits nicely, but so far that is the only plus. No wa in hell that his thing will stand up to any sort of abuse. Well, let me clarify that. No way in hell with that leather like cover on the hose stand up to any type of abuse. Any thoughts or inputs on this are welcomed. Anyone experience anything along these lines with this hose? Thanks,Michael
Johnny_D
Sounds like a Minor manufacturing error tome.Smoke the ass off it for a while then review. You may be able to stitch that leather?JD
symptom CY
I'd contact hookah-shisha about getting a replacement. That doesn't sound right...
Foos
Hey there, Ive had my nammor hose for a few weeks now and I love it. The plastic taste for me went away after a few hits of afternine. The leather wrap on mine was fine, and its still holding strong. Its not seperating or anything and its had some abuse after being to a few party's. Id definatly say its manufacture error and id get it replaced because mine is great. A friend of mine also got his today and his is good as well, no problems at all. Good luck. *HOT&SMOKING*
I also think you should talk to them and get a replacement.....before they say that because you have used it now for two weeks you broke it.....etc..Get the replacement.....it probably is a manufacturing error-H&S
mrmonk7663
Alright, I'll call them tomorrow and talk to them and see if I can get it straightened out. Like I said, other than these issues the hose seems like it will work great. Thanks, mike
insidius
You shouldn't have smoked with it.You probably can't get it replaced now unless they're REALLY good to their customers. Generally if you use it, it's yours. But yeah, the taste will go away, and you got a defective hose. All 4 of my Nammors are fine.
Sonthert
I got a Khalil Maamon hose to try out and it had a horrible plasti-flavor. I smoked with that thing a dozen times and that flavor never went away. I gave up finally. Some flavors are permanent, for whatever reason. symptom CY
Was it one of these? Or one of these? I have the latter and was able to get the taste out in about 6 smokes or so...I don't know about the Nammor though.
KillZedKill
My Nammor has no problems at all, my best hose. The plastic taste goes away after a few sessions..
mrmonk7663
No, it was neither of those two hoses, it is a Nammor Hose. Anyway, i assumed the plastic taste would eventually go away. My only problem is with the leather wrap, like I said. On the handle where you hold the hose, it appears that the leather is wrapped kind of in a spiraled fashion. Instead of overlapping the leather and then attaching it to the hose, it looks like they butted up the seams, so in between the seams I see white, it is a small gap, but an extra centimeter more of leather wrapped around the handle would have made this problem non existent. Oh well. I think i'm gonna just deal with it, since it smokes good. I am glad to hear that no one else has had this problem. Sucks that I do, but at least it is an isolated incident. Thanks everyone,Michael
