insidius
There used to only be one place that sold Diamante Finger Coals online: The Hookah Company @ $6.95 for a kilo bag.I thought some of you might like to know that that new site Al Fahker online sells the same kilo bags for $3.50 now! A great addition to their cheap ass Golden Seal shisha ($10.95 for 250g). I love these crazy prices. Hurray crazy prices!
Shifty
Only 1 kinda sorta real review of these things in the forum and they give them a <1, hopefully more people will post information about them.Edited for truth. insidius
Yeah, I don't think he's talking about the same coals. He says in the first sentence that they are not finger coals, more like wood chips.Oh, and for the record, I would hardly call what he wrote a real review, no offense intended. Sonthert
I think there are a couple of Diamante products out there. Could be a chippy kind and an extruded kind.
mushrat
Actually, they make a quicklight and a finger style. I use the fingers here in my place. They are great. Very dense so they ake a little longer lighting, but they burn longer. The only draw back is that if you want to break them into smaller pieces than thirds, you have to use a knife or saw to notch them.
Ocrap
I'm contemplating to try them because they are so cheap now or too stick with my Nours. I order my Nours from TheHookah.com It's 5.50 for a kilo if you buy at least six which I always do. Plus you get %10 after spending at least $100. How does the quality of Diamante compare to Nours? Their customer service very comparable to that of Hookah-shisha as well. They are great all around. I just can't wait for the new Al Fahker coals to come out. I'm so desperate to try all the new stuff they are going to receive soon
mrmonk7663
How do these Diamante Finger Coals compare to say the Golden Canary Japanese Coals? Are the Canary Japanese Coals still superior? I hope someone has compared them!!! Thanks!!!

How does the quality of Diamante compare to Nours?I don't know how Nours are in comparison, but these Diamante coals are pretty damn good. I love the way they smell, which I can only describe as 'clean.' I tried quick lights just to see what I was missing, and I ended up burning large holes in my carpet when the quick lights broke apart when I picked one up with my tongs. I have NEVER had that even remotely come close to happening with my finger coals.
Ocrap
I got a sample of them with my Al Fahker online order but i never tried them. I just put them on the electric stove now. They smell a little funny kind of like Stargate but not as bad, maybe because I'm just used to the Nours smell. Has anyone noticed that they slip out of the tongs easily? Ocrap
Ewwww....these Diamante finger coals are disgusting. They are just like Stargate coals. I think that they have added chemicals to them as well. One of them got on fire. Nours will never catch on fire. Iv'e tried. I'm staying away from these coals for ever.

mushrat
Ocrap: did they spark, smoke, and turn black instead of ash white? Kinda like a quicklite? If so I have a good idea of what happened... Edited July 6, 2007 by mushrat

I use an electric heater. One of them even caught on fire like a quicklite can on the stove. It did turn black after I lit it, kind of like a quicklite. It reminded me of Stargate finger coals, the smell and density of it. What do you think could of happened? Thanks for the help btw Edited July 7, 2007 by Ocrap
