Kae
It has begun. We have been having more and more people over lately, and it's starting to become a problem with our single hose hookah. We smoke in our living room. We have two sofas, facing one another, and we put the hookah in the middle. If we have more than 3 people over, then there are people sitting on both sofas, and we have to get up to pass the hose back to the other sofa. It's annoying. We are looking into getting a 2 hose hookah, so that there is one hose for each sofa, pretty much, lol.My fiance and I have been arguing for a month about them, however. He claims that the multiple hose hookahs still have a release valve on them, so that you can blow back thru the hose to clear the chamber. I disagree. It's a stupid argument, and I'm not even quite sure why it matters.Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions? I would prefer to stay away from rotating types (I just don't like they way they look), and I also prefer acrylic bases, because, well......we drink a lot, and we just can't have nice things =XIs there a Mya acrylic with 2 hoses? That would be excellent, methinks.
hookahlife
Hey Kae,Some multiple hose hookahs do have the release valve. I cant recall any Egyptians that have it, I think our 3 hose rotators might, but I know Mya's do. For instance, we carry acrylics that are 4 hose capable. They come standard with 1 hose adapter, 2 stoppers in the extra holes and a release valve, so if you want to expand you could replace one of the stoppers with a hose adapter. We are currently out of stock of 4 hose capable acrylics until late July - early August, but I am sure you could inquire with some of the other online retailers if they could sell you like a 3 hose acrylic, but with a release valve instead of a hose adapter in one of the ports.Just so you know, multiple hose Mya's come with one-way hose adapters, so if you go that route you will have to remove the ball bearing from one of the adapters, otherwise you wont be able to purge the vase. Hope this helps.
