wyteboy
yeah the past ones are scattered but not recently And I've put some mutilple reviews because as you know sometimes they change from smoke to smoke so just trying to provide the most accurate... I'll compile em all sometime when I get the time Gonna try one of the Habibis in a few so I'll post a review here as well.....
wyteboy
OK double review, both habibis 1) Habibi Grape -- This is a hard one to describe the texture of...it's like alwaha in pieces and texture, soaked almost like AF but not AS soaked but wetter than Alwaha and not "greasy sticky" like alwaha...It tasted sort of um.....how to describe it? Like grapes, but not. The picture on the box has green and red grapes and imagine a flavor that combined the two, but then was a little bit off....The smoke was extremely thick, got going real good. Requires less heat than AF and smoked well. I think some people could enjoy this flavor, but I didn't really too much. I give it a 6. 2) Habibi Apple - Keeping in mind that I am real sensitive to liquorice flavors and not that fond of them...This stuff smelled VERY licoricery to begin with and I was nervous. The taste is probably a 50/50 split taste of a nice mellow apple flavor and licorice. Again, I think lots of people could enjoy this but not really my thing. Alen, please do not take any offense or think that I am not very appreciative of your willingness to send me the flavors. I thank you very much for the opportunity to try them all! Overall, I think Habibi is a brand that does not get publicized on here but provides a good smoke. Some flavors will appeal more to some than others. wyteboy
GS AF Bahraini Apple, if you remember this is the replacement for the GS AF ESK Apple that tobacco import lost in the mail when they did not close the pkg properly. The guy on the phone assured me this had no real licorice taste at all and tasted just like a red apple. Well maybe I am just very sensitive to the licorice flavor but this tasted a TON like black licorice to me. It did have a very nice red appley flavor that I would really love if it wasn't overpowered by the licorice taste. Great, outstanding AF smoke as always. For my personal preference I rate this a 4 but some ppl could LOVE IT.

alen
btw have you tried the fakher standard apple? i may think that could be the one you looking for absolutely no licorice just sweet sweet apple
wyteboy
yeah I have been tempted to try the regular Fakher Apple but I love the gs af esk apple so much I almost don't see the point
alen
yeah the esk is a really good green and sour apple but the standard has that sweet and red apple flavour your looking for so much- imo the best red apple flavour you can find without any licorice i really recommend this one if its a red and sweet apple flavour that you want
alen
sorry if im wrong but i tought it was red apple you where looking for ?
wyteboy
I thought it was maybe just me being lame cause I don't like licorice but my friend also said he thought the bahraini had a big time licorice taste to it as well so at least I know it wasn't just me. Yeah I was curious to find a good red apple, but also not necessarily dying for it, I'll have a decent amount to smoke through but next time I order stuff I may throw in a 50g of it or something. Or maybe trade for a couple bowl's worth later on...
