Shifty
I got both my Small and Medium in the mail today. Figured people would be interested in seeing some other pictures. I am at work unfortunately so I won't be able to smoke these till later tonight. Both Bowls next to each other with quarters inside so you can scale them.Side by side with a ruler so you can get dimensions.Depth of the mediumDepth of the smallFrom edge to edge, they are both 3" across. If someone would like to scale these down, please do. I just don't have the ability to do so while at work.Enjoy.S Edited July 7, 2007 by Shifty

mrmonk7663
Thanks for the pics. Now how do you use that bowl? Do you put the tobacco only in the groove or do you put it both in the groove and over the holes. If it is only in the groove then the tobacco would have to be packed in there instead of broken up and divided like a normal bowl right?thanks,Mike
Shifty
I have that question posed in the other Chief thread, the consensus seems to be you put the shisha in the groove around the holes and leave the middle open for airflow. I'm assuming sooner or later, Tangiers will pop into one of those threads and clear it up.

symptom CY
I'm wondering about how much coal is needed, what the coal placement and hole pattern should be like. Nice looking bowl.... I imagine it would smoke great packed normally, too, if you wanted to squeeze a little extra tobacco in the bowl. It'd be the same thing as the standard bowl, just with an extra little bonus flavor catching channel, right?
Hannibal
Thanks for the pics Shifty! Now I know that I will purchase the medium. I read your small chief review too, it looks like this is the perfect bowl for me as I like to smoke sticky, juicy bacca and in small amounts.I'm quite excited to get this bowl.....but I might have to wait a week or so . Sonthert
The holes are large enough that they will pull smaller tobaccos down the holes, either clogging or dropping into the shank/jar. Tangiers wouldn't be a problem, and the channel holds a little extra juice.
