Favorite Fumari Flavors

Recommended Posts

So, I'd like to put an order in for some Fumari.. This is the one premium brand I haven't smoked yet and have been dying to try. I currently smoke a lot of Tangiers and Starbuzz and I'm really interested in some good Fumari Flavors.

What are some of your favorites? How would you say the smoke is compared to that of Tangiers?

How does it compare to Starbuzz?

Fumari by far is my favorite brand after trying alot of differnt ones. Flavors to definitely try are Fahk Fahina (spelled something like that), Nectarine, blueberry & Chocolate mint. Theres alot of good flavors with fumari and I still havent found one I dont like.

I have smoked Fumari and Starbuzz almost exclusively so far. I think they are about equal in terms of strength of flavor and amount of smoke. The one area I would say that Fumari edges SB out is in how long the flavor lasts. Fumari seems to outlast SB, especially when sharing with a lot of people, or taking many hits in a row. I feel like when I smoke the SB hard, I will start to get harsh pulls and taste mostly raw tobacco. This almost never happens with Fumari, no matter how hard I go at it.

I think Fumari's Mint is easily my all time fav shisha. I also think their Watermelon and Mango are excellent too. I didn't particularly care for the Pina Colada, Double Apple, or Honey (particularly gross).

I think Fumari's quality control has become better now that they are using the new "stay fresh" packaging. wink.gif

Thanks Ting, I'm a pretty exclusive Starbuzz smoker with the recent addition of Tangiers and I've always heard good things about Fumari. I noticed the same loss of flavor throughout my Starbuzz sessions, especially on the QT and smaller hookahs. To know that Fumari lasts longer makes me pretty damn excited, I will admit.

So far I'm looking at getting the following flavors of Fumari from Hookahkings.

Exotic Mango 100g x2 (Mango has always been my favorite flavor and I hear this is phenomenal)
White Peach 100g x1
Blueberry 100g x1
Raspberry 100g x1
Grape 100g x1
Triple Apple 100g x1 (I heard that this doesn't have the anis flavor like the double apple, and it is much sweeter)

Also added a phunnel bowl to the order, I'm guessing it is medium, or at least I hope so. I need another.

If all goes well with these, I may have a new preferred brand wink.gif

Tropical Punch!
if i could smoke only one tobacco for the rest of my life, it would be fumari tropical punch!
White peach is also pretty freaking good. I'm not a fan of chocolate mint flavors, but i preffered after-nine of fumari's.
Cream soda is weird, but good too.

Their cola might be better now, it was the best I have tasted, then I got too many bad batches to want more, but this was with their old packageing and stuff almost a year ago, might try it again

I'm partial to GOOD cola brands.. When done correctly they usually are really tastey.. Maybe I'll give Fumari a try, I haven't had a decent cola in awhile.

When I read back over this thread I kind of got an idea..

"Battle of the Brands"
We could arrange get togethers in different areas, where forum smokers could meet.
You take two brands, and pick say 5 of the same flavors from each.
Setup 10 hookahs, labeled with the flavor but not the brand. Label them with a number that would designate the brand.
Have everyone smoke the 10 hookahs, and choose the best tasting one out of each of the 5 pairs.
Put the results together at the end, and see which brand was better overall. You could also see how the flavor compared heads up to another brand instead of just going on brand specific reviews.

Hookahlife (I think) has done quite a few comparisons of different tobaccos'. I believe Fumari went up against starbuzz and lost. But its been a while so I could be mistaken.

I've tried a lot of fumari. I was my only brand for a long time till the price increase. And then about that time they also lost the consistency the product had.

If anyones purchased Fumari recently, have they changed the quality.

If the prices were better I would love to start purchasing them again.

Hey all,

We really like Fumari. It is definately an ultra-premium tobacco. When compared to Starbuzz, they are really close each has flavors that are outstanding and some that arent. In taste tests, according to insidehookah.com, SB beat Fumari but I would have to disagree with some the results personally.

Here is the link, if your interested:

Some personal favorite falvors of Fumari:
Cantaloupe
White Peach
Fruit Punch

Edit: Fumari is Washed. There are pretty few unwashed tobacco's on the market, like Tangiers.

Hope this helps. wink.gif

Fumari is my favorite IMPORTED tobacco. I think they are pretty consistent with their flavors where as SB is very inconsistent. However i hate how they switched to the bags instead of the tubs and how the price went up to $9 from $7
