hookaheveryday
Well I'm finally going with my native girlfriend to Peru! We're planning on going hiking in the Andes and I think taking the QT (with a tub of fresh Layalina Raz) with me is a must. I know I can get it through airport security (yes I searched) but I'm a little weary of bringing my 3kings QLs. I know they have gunpowder on them but I can't do without the portability of a good brand of QL, so will it be ok to put them in my luggage if they are in their unopened sleeves? I can't risk them getting confiscated!!

The other thing to consider is the import/export laws on the shisha, you are limited to an amount of tobacco that you are allowed to bring into the US (and many other countries) duty free. They may charge you coming and going (make sure you bring the original sales reciept that may make it ok bringing it back into the US...)
hookahlife
Hey hookah,We travel internationally pretty often for business and pleasure. Usually, if you stuff away all your hookah stuff in the baggage that gets checked you should be okay. I have rarely experienced issues with this, just dont bring it carry-on. Hope this helps. billy
Wrap the box in something black and pack it in your suitcase that usually works for stuff
hookaheveryday
Thanks guys, I'm still deciding which type of coals i should bring. Its between natural and QLs. I'm leaning towards risking it in favor of the quicklites.
chinamon
the funny thing is that the rolls of 3kings might look like sticks of dynamite on the xray because they are wrapped in something metallic.
