Ocrap
Are Diamante Finger Coals legit? Are they made from the same stuff as Nours? Or are there weird chemicals in there?
Shifty
I just did a review for Stargate finger coals and RK Olive woods. Both of which are pretty good for the 2 sessions I've had with them so far.

insidius
Diamante Finger Coals are natural wood coals with no chemical additives. Are they legit?Well, considering they're one of the best coals you can get for hookah smoking, I think they're legit. If you'd received yours in the original packaging and not a sample bag, you'd see the quality of the brand straight off.

I got a sample pack from Alfakheronline and they were horrible. What would be the difference between receiving them in the original packaging? It's still the same coal. MechAnt
Perhaps you're not lighting them correctly? They have to sit a stove for some time and get ashy white all over before you can even THINK of trying them.
racemyghost
If you're wanting to purchase natural/finger coals, get Manar (spelling?) or Nour brand. Absolutely no smell, taste, anything. Just good heat and lasts long. p.s. stay away from Roland finger coals too.
MechAnt
Why are the Rolland fingers bad? My friends use them regularly and don't complain... Haven't tried it myself tho. Edited July 11, 2007 by MechAnt

When I took them off they turned black. My whole room smelled horrible. It was nausiating. I didn't even put the coal on the hookah. I lit up a Nours instead. This was my second time trying Diamante finger coals although they were from the same sample bag.
MechAnt
Caught of fire? What the heck? They shouldn't do that. Maybe they sprayed gasoline on it or something In my experience Diamante Fingers are pretty good. I REALLY don't think they should be catching on fire and then turn black. They usually just smolder until they reach their yummy white assh stage

It's just that I want to purchase all of my Hookah tobacco and coals from Alfakheronline, but the coals that they carry suck. I'm just praying that the Al Fakher coals will be amazing. I have high hopes for them. I wish they would carry Nours coal.

I understand you're presenting your opinion and you're within every right, but I'm telling you, what you're describing IS NOT natural for that coal, so please don't take it as indicative of the entire brand. It really is a good coal; clean, no odor, burns forever.Maybe you should try actually lighting the coal instead of leaving it on your stove to burn.At this point I'm willing to send you free sticks of this coal from my own bag just to prove it doesn't suck. lol

I'm sorry. That was innappropriate of me. I would be upset too if someone was dissing my favorite coal. It's possible that I just received a bad batch of coals. I just ordered more shisha from Alfakheronline; I'm gonna try them again if they give me more free samples. Is there any way I can delete those threads that I left? Once again, I'm sorry for those comments I made.
insidius
No, you don't have to be sorry for what you said; it's good that people know the problem you had; on the same token, I just don't want people thinking ALL Diamante coals are as bad as the ones you described. Maybe AFOnline got a bad batch. I really don't know.
