Any type of alcohol or liqour bottle is a no-no for car use, for the hobo hookah I would think. because of open container. All you have to have is empty beer cans in your car to get in severe trouble.

Any other bottle would be cool. i think;

At what point does an alcohol bottle become not an alcohol bottle? What if it has been washed thoroughly? What if the label is peeled off? What if it is being reused and did not contain alcohol when it was bought? I have been thinking about this...

Somehow I still can't see smoking in the car as a good thing. Maybe its just because I live in Houston, but I'm pretty sure I'd get pulled over and arrested not long after sparking up some coals around here.

It's all perception.

I smoke in my car all the time. Almost every week when I make long trips and even during my classes (in Maryland, USA).

It's perfectly legal. The only time I've ever had a trouble is about 2 yrs ago when a cop checked us out when we were filling gas. We showed we him what was under the foil and he let us ago after 5 minutes. It's compeltely legal so I don't know why anyone would be worried.

Well I can almost guarantee you the perception around here would be "arrest kids for smoking weed in their car first, realize its tobacco and let them go 18 hours later." Just the way it is in this town...cops are really jaded towards that type of stuff. I realize that its perfectly legal since it's tobacco...but I've been harassed bigtime just sitting in a park.

Aside from that, I drive a 420+ whp car with a 6speed, so there won't be any hookah in my car anytime soon lol.

i think if the bottle is empty and clean of any alcohol residue, and you don't have any alcohol residue on your breath, you should be fine...

But why risk it? I can't think of a situation where I absolutely have to have an empty, clean liquor bottle in my car.
