It's a bit darker and more complex than the other series but it's good though. This is where harry gets his first kiss. Don't want to spoil you guys with detail but you'll know why prof. snape is one cold wizard and always bully other people. This is my third topic about movie hehe i guess i'm a movie buff can't wait to watch Rush hour

I read the books..I admit it man, Harry Potter has it going on.. Well it's more just the movies and storyline I'm into. The cool thing about the movies is that they get more mature every time and the story gets more complex. Well I guess the books do too, but it really stands out in the movies. The whole immersive environment of the saga is what does it for me.. reminds me of LOTR (which is way better imho) or Star wars (also way better). I think that Harry Potter is really the only GOOD modern saga that we have. The trick to stories like these is to totally immerse the reader/watcher in the story.. make them feel like they're there or a part of it. They're doing well with that concept with the HP movies and they did extremely well with the SW and LOTR ones. I'm ready for the new Harry Potter... RyCon
I really enjoyed this movie (I saw midnight showing) but being a little fanatical about Harry Potter I was really disappointed with somethings that were left out or changed (specifically that last part with Sirius...not to ruin it for anyone who hasn't read the book but they totally messed that one up...but I guess they did it so they wouldn't have to waste a few minutes explaining the veil (which shouldn't look like that by the way!))Oh well my anger over the movie was overcome by the acting playing Umbridge and Luna I really thought they were amazing
boomhauer
the movie is by far the best one of the series so far but i have to say i still hate all the movies. they leave out so many details due to the time constraints its not funny. during the part when fred and george leave with the fireworks i have to say was one of my most favorite parts of the book. the movie cut out so many details and did not have the fun of her trying to have them dissapear as the book did. would have made it 200% funnier and enjoyable if they spent the extra day recording and week working on the CGI for it. i have many other complaints on details but i understand a lot of those.
