cypherkk
yep tangiers has the kind of quality and customer service you expect a company to have, to bad most others don't back up their products like them.
clickhea
i got a reply asking for pictures, which i gave them, so waiting on another reply.you can see the way its damaged it wasnt from me, its just some kinda defect in the bowlhttp://img519.imageshack.us/img519/2116/b1qh5.jpg http://img396.imageshack.us/img396/8610/b2om1.jpg http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/6445/b3hx0.jpg http://img388.imageshack.us/img388/5084/b4gb8.jpg
Allia22
Eh, I'd just leave it. The bare ceramic will get full of burnt shisha juice and turn black eventually
HookahPrincess
I don't think the damage will really get in the way of smoking. It's just the top layer with the color that i guess kinda chipped in that area. it happens to most bowls anyway with regular use, unless you're super careful. most of mine have more chips than that and work perfectly fine. Unless you're concerned with the appearance of it, I'd just keep it and get to smokin instead of waiting for a new one. =)
Johnny_D
Your right. You should enquire about this. But that has to be the most minor damage i've ever seen. Personally I think i would just use the damn thing. It's a lot of effort for a minor surface chip that can be measured in mm's. I think i would probably tap the post office up. [However we can do this in the uk] JD

Sonthert
That looks like a patch where glazing missed. Its hard to tell without depth. If its jagged, its a chip, if its relatively smooth and flush with the clay around it, its an unglazed spot. If you were tiny-tiny and could be inside the phunnel, directly opposite that spot. Move down the inside of the bowl, you'd find the entire inside of the bowl is like that. Nothing unusual having unglazed areas. I do try to ferret those pieces out, because we can just reglaze and refire, that one slipped by, if its an unglazed spot, so I apologize.
clickhea
no need to apologize, it actually looks more like a chip than just a missed unglazed spot.Mnhookah was very quick in their replies, and were nice enough to send a new bowl. Ive been a returning customer with them for a while now.. and will continue to do so after i see how well their customer service takes care of their customers.heres the response i got after i sent them the pictures.Hello, Thank you for providing the pictures ,We strive to make our customers happy, and we have sent the bowl and you should receive your bowl by tommorrow.
