New Bambino Hookah! Pt. 2

Just got done with another smoke on my new bambino and it's awesome! A quick rundown of my latest smoke, I filled the Bambino a little less than half way full with plain ole' H20. Packed my Smiley's small glass bowl (just drove down to Tucson and got it in person! thanks Smiley! your shop is awesome) just a little bit above the rim with Hookah-Shisha's new Smooth Smoothie Mix, and capped with Smiley's glass screen. Lit 2 Easy-Lite coals and popped em on the top!

The start was the normal from a full bowl of Romman, a little slower due to the wetness, after about 3m it got going and man was it amazing! I would just like to say now that I am an -extremely- picky shisha person, and I've smoked just about every brand out there and not been impressed with most. Right now I enjoy Romman, Smiley's, Starbuzz, Havana, some Fumari, and a little bit of Nakhla. I've spent well over $400 on shisha alone and of all the flavors I have ever smoked, Hookah Shisa's Smooth Smoothie is my new #1 hands down favorite. It absolutely blew me away, and I recommend it to -any- smoker out there. Even IF you don't like the mix, it comes in an awesome glass jar made for storing shisha. The smoke is thick and puffy, the flavor is amazing, like a mixed berry smoothie, and the smell is fantastic as well. This is by far the smoothest and most flavorful smoke I have ever had. I smoked some other bowls out of the bambino as well but it really just was the shisha, ordering the other 2 new flavor mixes as we speak, and I really hope H-S brings this on as a full time flavor. Anyway, on to the hookah.

The hookah itself is awesome, it's cute and small, but stout and stable as well. Comparable to a Mya Qt? yes, but classier in my opinion. As always I am surprised by the quality of smoke from the little guys. The downstem on this one comes mighty low, so if you don't overfill the base you can build up LOTS of smoke in it. I like the texture on the base alot as well as the etching on the stem. Like I said, similar to a mya Qt but a little nicer. It's also a few inches shorter than my QT so if size is a huge issue with you, this is the way to go.

Overall experience? Fantastic. I read the forums alot but I'm not moved to write very often. I smoke minimum twice a day and have yet to be moved so much by a smoking experience that I decided to right about it, so if nothing else, take this as a testament to greatness. 10/10 smoke in my book, lasted a long time, flavor stayed all the way through, nothing but excellent. Wow I really want one of those bowls. With the smiley bowl as the head, stem as the neck, hose/air valve as the arms and vase as the body your hookah kinda looks like a green snowman. Edited August 18, 2007 by john_smith

i have an olive green bambino also... i love it so much. Tho i dont mess with smiley's stuff I have a tangiers medium funnel on top of mine =).

was that the grommet that came with the top? cause i didn't know mya gave out those rubber ones. All my MYAs have the silicone or whatever ones.
