Guest www.genuinehookahs.com
you should really get a new hose. If it's wooden, which it might be because I did not read the entire post, I would let the water dry off before using it to smoke. If you smoke it while the inside of the hose is still soaking wet, it'll dampen up rather quickly. Get a hose with a metal tip, or a cobra hose. Those seem to work best from my experiences. yashman19
UPDATE on the Home Depot vinyl hoses i buy. I went in yesterday to buy 2x 20' clear vinyl hoses from Home Depot's plumbing department, and because of all the fuss about how safe they are, I thought I would investigate them a little bit to see how safe they are. On the label, they say they are approved by the FDA and government to be non-toxic and environmentally safe. Also on the label for these hoses, it says Uses: and one of the uses for this is aquariam/fish tanks, and FOOD AND WATER USE. Don't know exactly what kind of food use but the water I assume is for fridges and such. But the point is these vinyl hoses should be safe for hookah. So I still stand by my 20' hoses for 3.99 at Home Depot. They are easily washable. They won't collect particles of hookah ash in them like traditional hoses, cheap, and now safe So if anyone has a tight budget and really needs a new hose and is not willing to shell out money for a real hose, give a vinyl hose a try.. Happy Smoking guys!
slayman1
hey brother, the best solution for you is to go to someone who has an air compressor and get an airgun and blow through the hose with the airgun, you'll be surprised. Then put some kind of washing detergent i it and put it under hot water and let the hot water run straight through the hose. That should fix it.
