I don't think anyone gets a tin foil flavor as you say just from using
tin foil. I believe all the fuss is about the chemicals you are getting
out of the tin foil, and putting aluminum in your body.

actually tin foil would be a lot better than aluminum foil, as they are two separate things.

actually you can get a horrendous aluminum flavor if it happens to get hot enough and melt, if you havent experienced it yet consider yourself lucky

I can safely say that I have never tasted the aluminum (thank god), and
I think that if you ever get to that point, YOUR USING TOO MUCH HEAT!
But I'm sure that doesn't happen too often for anyone

Hopefully no one will ever get to that point.

I'm not sure about the melting point, but the fumes wouldnt be as bad, and it isnt as toxic as aluminum

If you really whant to know what aluminum tastes like get a little bit
of foil and roll it up into a small ball and chew on it a little. Its
not going to be enought to cause damage now unless you like it and do
it the rest of your life. Then you might forget why you ever started.
