I wait a few days for shipping notiification, nothing. So I call, an am told he's waiting for the newest batch to be done so he can send me fresh stuff. Promises me it will be out friday or monday. Monday I contact him again. Says he has tracking info for me. So I try the number. Nothing. call him back, he says he can track it and that its due the 18th. So I wait until the end of the day yesterday, no package. I track it again. their computer says it was picked up from HIM yesterday (the 18th) at 4:54 pm and is due friday. So I've had it. My customers will just have to find new favorites. First the QUADRUPLED wholesale price by the Kilo, then the inability to get my the shipment in anything resembling a timely manner with a total lack of notification as to the delays. He may distribute other things real well, but this isn't the way to run a shisha wholeale business.I am refusing the shipment when it ever actually arrives and contacting my bank if I get any arguement about a full and total refund.I have also spoken with the owner of one of the major online sites. He says their samples were either tasteless or the ones they could taste just weren't worth it. Sounds like the same old Smiley's to me. This guy is in way over his head, his tobacco isn't even worth the original price, and for him to think it is worth this is just ludicrous. Not only is he raising the prices, he's got the worst customer service I've ever dealt with since I started smoking hookah, not joking in the slightest bit either. He's a shady character, and although I never got to see his antics here or on the other forums, it sounds like he always had the wrong intention. He may come off as a "good fellow" but I think it's easy to see he just wants money in his pocket and for the consumers to just accept that it's good because he says so.As for OPD, I highly doubt many of the statements he made, and I seriously doubt the credentials he has listed for himself. This is no better than a backwoods moonshine project running amuck if you ask me. I fancy the day this all comes back around to bite him in the keester.I wish the best of luck in getting it resolved Mush, hopefully people will take this as a warning on what to expect when dealing with Smiley. Alas, this seems to be nothing more than smoke and mirrors......yet I seem to have no sympathy for those two.Oh and mush do you not serve tangiers or starbuzz? It took nearly a month to get here, and I live in the US. I contacted Smiley SEVERAL times, with no response. Finally I get a response from him that says the order was going to be shipped the next day, and he never supplied the shipping number. A week and a half later, still no package, so I continue to e-mail with no response. OPD shows up on the forum and starts ranting about his uncomparable gift from the gods new Smiley's. I send him a PM after he says to, and it takes him almost 48 hours to reply. OPD says he'll fix the problem and give me some compensation (most likely some shitty samples of Smileys). I get the package at the end of the week, with nothing more than what I ordered, one of the containers leaking and extremely poor packaging.I still have not recieved any "compensation" but I've all but given up. Horrible customer service, with tobacco that isn't much better.. Makes for a new movie called "How to Lose A Business In 10 Days"SERVE FUMARI TOO MUSH! So I'll give you that I can say though that I'd be hesitant about drinking it again, based on the 10 hour battle screaming chunks into the toilet.And unfortunately Smiley's Sexy Shisha doesn't blind me, nor does it make me feel guilt free about any of the mistakes I made the night before by clouding my memory with empty bottles and morning breath that could knockout a horse.So where is the fun in smoking it?If only there was a Moon Shiney's Shisha. I feel for you man, we've been waiting on samples of the new 15gm shots for a few weeks now; haven't heard anything from OPD since we originally spoke with him. You know, members of this forum are customers of ours, and I can't even begin to imagine us providing the same customer service (I use that term loosely) as I'm seeing from OPD. Smiley seems like an ok guy from the conversations we've had with him, but I'm still trying to figure out why he brought in a distributor who, at least from what I've seen, can't work in a timely/professional manner. I've never heard of smiley's until I found this forum, but I am a business major, even though it doesn't take a business major to know that is no way to run a business.Smiley might be trying to save his face under this moniker, but the fact is, people really just care about the product. Even if you had a good salesperson with excellent customer relations, you could probably get an order, but no repeat. With something so consumable as tobacco, it really looks like things are over. Personally, I don't think I'll ever try Smiley's unless it was free, and never buy it unless it blew my mind.Possibly decieving customers, poor service...true, there are much more markets they could go into than this forum, but with such poor people skills, they aren't going to go very far.
