Replacing A Vase On My Hookah

Recommended Posts

That looks like some sort of Mya, or possibly a knockoff. Honestly, the base you have on there is pretty damn nice. It's diamond cut glass. As for that fitting on the Bell vase you want, I'm gonna say it probably won't, because those diamond cut vases have small openings, and the stem on the Mya's usually have a smaller diameter. I don't know if that is a Mya for sure, but it sure does look like one, and the etched glass is a pretty exclusive trait to the Mya's right now. Go to myasaray.com and check out the bases there, it might be a better bet. Maybe e-mail Mya with a picture and see what they have to say.

I just have a hunch that is a mya, the glass is far too similar, the hoses look to be Mya, and the stem is done in a modern Mya fashion.

(I didn't read any of the info on the page with the picture of the hookah, but I never trust e-bay info anyways)

Appreciate the help, the one thing that makes me leary about thinking its a Mya is that the glass base is tilted, so it seems handmade and leans a bit. The base isn't that bad, just afraid I'm gonna break it one of these days since it leans.

Hehehe. To answer your question, no. That hookah shown, although over priced, has a 22-lug. The jar shown on hookah-shisha is a 30. Just 4 sizes too big...although 24s and 28s are unheard of...you occasionally hear about a 32, though.
