aylang
Hi, i've had a 23'' swivel hookah for nearly 3 months now, but about 2 sessions ago, it suddenly stopped swiveling. It worked smoothely and perfectly up until that point. I have a hunch it may be rust, since my friends have started offering to clean, and they are less careful than i am. Is there any way to fix this?
stryet
WD-40? New ball bearings? I've never had a swivel hookah, but there's a suggestion.
Allia22
It depends if you can take it apart to look at the rotating mechanism. If you can't, and that part doesn't come into contact with water/smoke, try soaking just that part in CLR.
*HOT&SMOKING*
take it apart and give it a good clean maybe?-H&S
SafeSearchOff
WD-40 >.< thats what i'd try. WD40 is actually used in movie theatres like a bitch to lube up all the equipment, its great.
KillZedKill
Theirs something made for car ignitions, like for the key slot thing. Its like wd-40 but it doesnt collect as much dirt and gunk as wd-40 does. Maybe look into that?
Sonthert
Thats not the problem, I wouldn't think. You need to disassemble it, turn over the swivel part and look in there...a piece of paper or plastic probably got lodged in the swivel race. thecult
it wont be rust. If it was rust you would have noticed it slowly getting worse not just suddenly stopping. There is probally something jammed in it
