as far as i know its a regular Mya hose with a cloisonne handle for extra decoration.

They dont only have the extra decoration but they are more flexible and are a better quality hose.

Hmmm i have 3 regular mya hoses ( sleep.gif two rusted out on me after washing one time) and one cloisonne, and as far as i can tell the only difference is the handle and connecter piece. The handle is really heavy, looks awesome and the hose itself seems no difft in flexablity or quality, but to be honest im frightend to death of washing it because it might rust like my others did =( Its a fantastic looking hose but i use my Nammor 20 times more often.

It was a gift from a friend who has one of her own. Shes washed hers a few times and its still like new. Mine's still beautiful, but im gonna refrain from washing it in the hopes that it will last a long time.

I'm not sure about that rust thing. I had one MYA hose ever rust on me, and it was because I didn't try it out after washing it. I've washed my others over and over again, and they were fine...just had to make sure I REALLY got that water out though.

that "rust" your getting mtb, is most likely just resin buildup. bang your hose on something hard to loosen up the particles, and blow into the mouthepiece real hard (when not plugged in).

happens even to washable hoses.

I can assure you that both of those hoses are rusted out. I have enough experience to tell the difference between the resin buildup. I also dried both of them after washing as best as possible. It was around a week later when i blew them out that the rust was CLEARLY noticable and obvious. The reddish rust was abundant and unmistakable. Mya hoses arent perfect. Ive had a nonwashable hose rust on me and i got a nice mouthfull of rust when i tried to use it that nearly made me puke. Several others on this forum have had mya hoses rust on them so i know im not alone.
My nammor has had nothing similar come out of it after a few washings sleep.gif

Of course if you dont believe me feel free to buy them off me and try them for urself biggrin.gif

Edit: I tried searching for a post with pictures where someone cut open their mya "washable" and showed the rust but the search function doesnt filter well enough to find it =/ Edited by mtbsolo
